The short version

Your selected photos and files are processed locally for the core PowerIMG workflow. There is no PowerIMG account, no advertising, and no upload of your originals to a PowerIMG server.

Core processing

On device

Selected files stay in the app workflow unless you explicitly save or share a result.

Account

Not required

PowerIMG does not require a product account to start the core job.

Website

Aggregate only

Goodplain public pages use privacy-preserving aggregate web measurement plus explicit anonymous page and marked CTA events; no product files, metadata, or account identity are sent.

PowerIMG processes your files on your device

PowerIMG is designed to process images and supported files on your iPhone or iPad. Your selected photos, files, filenames, editing settings, and file contents are not uploaded to PowerIMG servers. PowerIMG has no advertising, behavioral analytics, or third-party crash-reporting service inside the app.

Photos, files, and camera access

PowerIMG accesses only the photos and files you select. Camera access is requested only when you choose to take a photo. Photo-library add access is used only when you choose to save a newly created image. Files leave the app only when you explicitly save or share them to a destination you choose, including Photos, Files, or another app.

Information stored on your device

PowerIMG stores task records, preferences, redacted diagnostics, private working files, and recovery state in its private app container. Cached results are eligible for automatic removal after seven days and are bounded to 512 MiB and six cache-bearing runs. Share Extension recovery copies are retained for no more than 24 hours. Orphaned task workspaces older than 24 hours are eligible for cleanup. You can clear cached results or discard work in the app; uninstalling PowerIMG removes its local app container.

Subscriptions and purchase verification

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. PowerIMG uses RevenueCat to verify purchase status and restore access. For that purpose, Apple and RevenueCat may process purchase history, Apple receipt information, an anonymous RevenueCat app-user identifier, device type, operating system, app version, and last-seen time. PowerIMG disables RevenueCat diagnostics and automatic device-identifier collection. PowerIMG does not send your photos, filenames, editing settings, or file contents to RevenueCat.

See Apple’s Privacy Policy and RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy for their handling of information.

Support and diagnostic exports

If you contact us from PowerIMG Settings or at , we receive the information you choose to include in that message. Diagnostic exports created inside PowerIMG are redacted, but you should review an export before attaching it. Please do not send original photos or other sensitive files unless they are necessary for your request.

Website measurement and hosting

Goodplain public pages use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate page-view and performance measurements plus an explicit anonymous event layer processed by PostHog's US Cloud capture endpoint for page views and marked navigation or download clicks. It does not use advertising pixels, DOM autocapture, session replay, form capture, cookies, or an identity bridge to the app. It sends only a page path, coarse browser, operating-system, device, viewport, and language categories, and allowlisted campaign or link metadata; raw User-Agent, exact screen dimensions, product files, metadata, and account information are never sent. See PostHog's Privacy Policy. Cloudflare and the hosting provider may process ordinary request, security, and performance data needed to deliver and protect the site.

Download links may include App Store campaign parameters so Goodplain can understand aggregate acquisition results in App Store Connect. Apple handles that attribution under its own policies. PowerIMG does not use your app activity for cross-app or cross-site behavioral tracking.

Your choices and policy changes

You control which files are selected, where results are delivered, and whether local cached results are retained. Purchase records are managed under Apple’s and RevenueCat’s respective policies. For privacy questions or requests, contact support+powerimg@goodplain.app.

If this policy changes materially, the effective date above will be updated before the changed build is released.
